AOL RED

In 2006, AOL launched Be Red, a site for teens. Teens are the most wary of advertising, so we knew we had to tap into how they feel and express themselves. We used a set of easily relatable emoticons. We created wild postings and print insert door hangers along with banner ads and downloadable chat emoticons.


Wild Postings introduced urban youth to the eight characters.
