Premiere car care company Meguiar’s needed help breaking into the male youth market with a social media strategy. We developed the “Like Your Car Clean” sweepstakes that gave users the chance to win bigger and better cleaning product packages by working together and rallying their friends to “Like” Meguiar’s on Facebook. In one-month, Meguiar’s saw over a 100% rise in their Facebook followers, earning nearly 25 thousand new devotees and people “talking about” Meguiar’s on Facebook rose during the promotion by 1400%. The largest single group of people influenced by the campaign was males 18-24.
